21st
century medicine has come to three basic conclusions as to the cause
and cure of disease ...
Firstly,
the primary cause of disease is not germs. Rather,
disease is caused by a toxemia which results in cellular impairment
and breakdown, thus paving the way for the multiplication and onslaught
of germs.
Secondly,
in almost all cases the use of drugs in treating patients is
harmful. Drugs often cause serious side effects, and sometimes
even create new diseases or concomitant problems. The dubious benefits
they afford the patient are mostly temporary at best. Yet the number
of drugs on the market increases geometrically every year as each chemical/pharmaceutical
company develops its own variation of the compounds. There are simply
few physicians who can be completely aware of the potential dangers
all of these drugs, not to mention the stress on the liver in general.
Thirdly,
disease can be cured and prevented through the proper use of
correct foods, supplements
and choices. Dr Weston A. Price, a leading health researcher studying
world societies and their nature-based versus modern diets, stated unequivocally
that human degenerative diseases were fundamentally a nutritional problem
(Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, 1939.)
At 21st
Century Organics, this underlies our own company philosophy, even
raison d'etre. Nature has the correct answers, we have been successfully
using natures bounty for medicinal health for millenia, and the hard
fact is that creating synthetic 'rip-offs' of nature is not the answer
to health issues. What do we mean? Here's a germane example:
Green tea’s cancer fighting
ability has been well established in both animal models and human trials.
The cogency of these studies ignited the Division of Cancer Prevention
at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to invite applications for grants
to foster the identification of molecular targets from green tea. Rather
than promote the unpatentable herb, these pharmaceutically compliant
research houses are working toward developing a “copycat”
molecule.
“We may be
able to develop new anti-cancer drugs based on the structure of the
EGCG molecule.” - Professor Roger Thornely, John
Innes Center in Norwich.
A copycat molecule would afford
patent rights to drug companies who choose not to focus on proven
natural organic approaches and products. They strive for monopolization
- causing patients to trade wealth for health. The potential value of
a single green tea extract or single “copycat” molecule
is questionable. Studies show that the whole plant/herb rather than
an isolated extract is far more effective at fighting cancer or providing
health (imagine extracting one molecule from say, broccoli, and expecting
it to provide the same benefits.) This highlights the importance of
using a full spectrum green tea product, and that leveraging nature's
wisdom, rather than stealing parts from it, is the only intelligent
approach to supplementing health. Nutritional
supplements and natural organics hold the key to health, but that
is now fast becoming a dirty secret.
Education on the proper use
of nutritional substances to achieve good health was removed from the
medical school curriculum over 85 years ago. There is not a medical
doctor practicing today who has been trained in medical school on the
prophylactic use of nutritional supplements. This explains the reluctance
of medical doctors to teach patients about natural alternatives -- they
simply don't know about them. Furthermore, the FDA has stonewalled
ALL nutritional supplement manufacturers from educating their clients
on nutritional supplements by passing the Dietary Supplement Health
and Education Act (DSHEA). This act prohibits supplement manufacturers
from marketing or claiming that their products "cure, mitigate,
treat, or prevent" any given disease or illness. Instead, they
can only make general statements about their products. As a result,
nutritional supplements carry labels that are intentionally vague and
misleading to consumers. Finding which nutritional supplements to take
for any given illness has become close to impossible. DSHEA also gave
the FDA the authority to remove any nutritional supplement from the
market if it "proved" to be unsafe. Because of their broad
definition of "unsafe" and because most anything, even water,
is unsafe in the right amounts, the FDA can now ban any nutritional
supplement which poses as competition to its pharmaceutical partners
and sponsors. Ephedra is a perfect example. Green tea may be next.
Lobbying by the pharmaceutical
industry has also enabled the pharmaceutical drug community to influence
the media to set a negative tone on the use of nutritional supplementation.
More often than not, the message is that natural alternatives to prescription
drugs are ineffective and even possibly dangerous. Unable to distinguish
between the truth and profit motives, the general public has turned
away from nutritional supplements to embrace pharmaceutical drugs.
The statistics are frightening, parents have children on drugs at unbelievably
young ages, threatening healthy brain development if nothing else, people
everywhere are on antidepressants, drug ads inundate us in the media
(indeed even inventing new illnesses to promote drugs), and drug use
continues to skyrocket as the health industry revolves more and more
around medication as an approach to health. It is truly frightenting.
How Western Medicine Tries To Solve the
Problem:
The fact is that western medicine's
approach is to prescribe harsh drugs and antibiotics with very serious,
and sometimes, even deadly side-effects for many problems. The drugs
are designed to attack and alleviate the symptoms,
but NEVER THE CAUSE of the illness. Instead they mainly
depress and destroy the immune system, your body's natural and incredibly
powerful disease-fighting mechanism, stressing your body and especially
your liver. Surgeries are utilized as a last resort to take out the
offending organ which is malfunctioning which again have very serious
health ramifications.
It is our belief that
this way of medicine is incredibly backward. NO PILL OR SURGERY
WILL REMOVE TOXEMIA OR SUFFICIENTLY REMOVE SYSTEMIC BLOCKAGE FOR A SUSTAINED
PERIOD OF TIME!! Unless you change your lifestyle, your eating habits
will bring you right back to disease!! But, if we can remove those blockages,
cleanse out the toxins, boost your immune system, re-introduce a healthy
blood flow and get nutrients to the affected areas, cells can regenerate
and the body's natural and powerful healing process will take over.

On a daily basis humans ingest
a heavy dose of unhealthy chemicals, toxins, preservatives, metals,
antibiotics, hormones, genetically modified organisms, and other harmful
substances from our air, food, and water supply. 90% of POPs (Persistent
Organic Pollutants) come from animal foods, because these pollutants
have the highest concentration in fat cells, and animal foods are extremely
high in fat content. These harmful substances cannot be safely and
effectively eliminated from our bodies because of the blockage in our

Furthermore, by using microwave
ovens to cook food, or other heating techniques that kill enzyme activity,
food remains unusable and undigestable in the system, leading to all
sorts of problems as toxins cannot be excreted properly and disease

Then it falls to our kidneys,
liver, and gallbladder, who are desperately attempting to filter out
all the bad stuff we ingest every day, but this takes a heavy toll on
their effectiveness. Not everything gets eliminated and the toxins that
stay in our body eventually get re-absorbed back into our blood stream
making us really sick. By ingesting all of these terrible substances,
primarily from animal foods and tainted water, we get a whole set of
other problems: PMS problems because the hormones in milk and our meat
supply combine with the hormones in women - prostate problems in men
caused by high amounts of hormones in milk and our meat supply (just
like the hormones make the cows grow, they also make your prostate grow)
- kidney / liver diseases because of high amounts of toxins that have
to be dealt with on a daily basis - AND a whole set of other
carcinogenic and debilitating effects that have been catalogued over
and over again by top medical journals and universities around the world.
It doesn't take a lot of common
sense to realize you should eat foods that are clean and chemical free.
That means buying or even growing your foods ORGANICALLY!! That way,
you will be avoiding the thousands and thousands of chemicals, antibiotics,
hormones, pesticides, herbicides etc ... (not to mention Genetically
Modified Food) that are proven to make you sick and diseased. Don't
use microwaves, stay away from fast food, and try not to cook everything
so much. Though it seems trite, simple things work, like don't forget
to chew your food well - a little effort in the beginning helps everything
out at the end, so to speak. And avoid using drugs that put your system
under stress in so many ways. Instead use supplements
to augment your organic dietary choices, helping to detoxify, regulate
and enhance health and immune function. Here's to a revolution

Side note about microwave
technology:
In
Comparative Study of Food Prepared Conventionally and in the Microwave
Oven, published by Raum & Zelt in 1992, at 3(2): 43, it states:
"A
basic hypothesis of natural medicine states that the introduction into
the human body of molecules and energies to which it is not accustomed
is much more likely to cause harm than good.
Microwaved
food contains both molecules and energies not present in food cooked
in the way humans have been cooking food since the discovery of fire.
Microwave energy from the sun and other stars is direct current based
(DC.)
Artificially
produced microwaves, including those in ovens, are produced from alternating
current (AC) and force a billion or more polarity reversals per second
in every food molecule they hit.
Production
of unnatural molecules is inevitable. Naturally occurring amino acids
have been observed to undergo isomeric changes (changes in shape morphing)
as well as transformation into toxic forms, under the impact of microwaves
produced in ovens.
One
short-term study found significant and disturbing changes in the blood
of individuals consuming microwaved milk and vegetables. Eight volunteers
ate various combinations of the same foods cooked different ways.
All
foods that were processed through the microwave ovens caused changes
in the blood of the volunteers. Hemoglobin levels decreased and over
all white cell levels and cholesterol levels increased. Lymphocytes
decreased.
Luminescent
(light-emitting) bacteria were employed to detect energetic changes
in the blood. Significant increases were found in the luminescence of
these bacteria when exposed to blood serum obtained after the consumption
of microwaved food."
Please consider looking further into your use of this
technology. We encourage you to think for yourself and investigate the
truth. Your health and quality of life will thank you. We just don't know what consequences
result from such unusual forms of cooking and in a world rife with sickness
and cancers and degenerative diseases, we must start making wiser choices
and taking responsibility for our well-being. Short term benefits are
not more important than long-term health considerations. In truth, simpler is better. And the bottom line -- try not to cook your food too much in the first place.
